The Shoe Model Management section allows you to control which shoe models are used by the Shoe Recommendation Engine across your organization and individual stores.
This ensures that recommendations always align with actual inventory availability and store-specific assortments.
What This Section Does
Gives access to 115+ shoe models available in the Ochy recommendation engine.
Allows you to manage which models are recommended:
Globally (across all stores)
Locally (store-specific models only available in certain locations)
Helps you adapt recommendations in real time based on stock levels and priorities.
Global vs Store-Level Management
Organization-Level (Admin Access)
Admins can select a core range of shoe models that should be recommended across all stores.
These models automatically become available in every linked store.
Store-Level Additions
Individual stores can add extra models that are only sold in their specific location.
This allows flexibility while keeping a consistent base assortment across the organization.
You can access shoe model management on:
Member level: in the left sidebar, below the Home section (available when logged in as a store member).
Admin level: in the Admin Panel, under “Shoes”, for organization-wide management (not accessible from a member account).
Managing Inventory Changes
You can adjust recommendations at any time based on stock availability:
Remove a shoe model from the recommendation engine if:
Stock is running low
You want to prioritize other models
Re-add the shoe model once inventory is replenished
Changes take effect immediately and apply to:
The store where the change was made (member level), or
All stores (if managed at admin level)
This ensures customers are only recommended shoes that are actually available.
Requesting New Shoe Models
If a shoe model is not yet available in the system:
Click “Request New Shoe” (top-right corner).
Enter:
Brand
Model name
Product URL (if available)
Submit the request.
The Ochy team will:
Collect the required shoe parameters
Validate the model
Notify you once it becomes available in the Shoe Model Management section
Filtering & Search
To help you navigate the full catalog, you can:
Filter by brand
Filter by model
Search for a specific shoe by name
Each shoe card shows a label at the top indicating who added the model (admin or store), ensuring transparency across locations.
Best Practices
Keep your shoe model list aligned with current inventory to avoid recommending unavailable products.
Use global models for core assortments and store-level models for local exclusives.
Review shoe model availability before major events or high-traffic periods.
